Excellence thrives where it is practiced consistently. Pepsi-Cola Products Philippines, Inc. (PCPPI)—the exclusive manufacturer of PepsiCo beverages in the country—recently honored three outstanding employees with this year’s Gold Crown Awards. This recognition is awarded to employees for demonstrating professional dedication in line with PCPPI’s ICARE Values, which stands for Integrity and Innovation, Care and Respect, Empowerment and Excellence. The three awardees for this year are (in photo, from left to right) Faith Marie M. Zacal of from PCPPI’s Cagayan De Oro plant, Lucky J. Mallari from the Central Luzon Operations (CLO) and Jona Marie S. Rollan from the Davao manufacturing facility. Of the awardees, PCPPI president and chief executive officer Frederick D. The Gold Crown Awards allow us as one team to acknowledge the exceptional contributions of our employees.” He added, “Jona, Lucky, and Fa

Kitchen of Cakes and Coffee

First time to post something about a restaurant/cafe.
It was one humid afternoon last week when Ness, Ayzee and I decided to have some coffee after attending the Sponge Cola's press con held at Shakey's Tomas Morato.

Just a block away we found Kitchen of Cakes and Coffee.
The place looks cozy and the food/cakes on display looks do scrumptious.

Ness wanted to try their Tuna Pasta. Looked yummy but smelled so fishy. Having less onions (or none I think) added to the "awful"(that's how Ness described it) smell.

Since I saw outside the Cafe's window their ad about Yogurt, I ordered Mango Tango (Tall). Taste like a normal mango shake and have not tasted a pinch of yogurt in it. I dunno.
Ness had a Kokko Jelly and Ayzee had her Caribbean Goddess.

Since the cafe specializes in Cakes and Coffee, we tried 3 slices of different cakes.
First one is the Dulce the Leche, which costs Php90/slice.
Taste: 10/10 for me. Not too sweet, just SAKTO! So creamy and soft.

Ayzee and I had our Chocolate Chip Pudding.
Php90/Slice (Ayzee called it "block")
Taste: 9/10 for me. Lack of some sweetness for me. But all in all it tastes yummy.
No "umay" factor. And it's quite a big slice for one person.

Crew service: 8/10 The waitress is kinda slow and forgot to list one of our orders. But they all wear a smile on their face the whole time.

Budget for a single person to enjoy sweets and coffee at this restaurant/cafe, one should have at least Php400. :)

We haven't tried their best seller cake. But hoping that we will try that sometime soon!

US! Ayzee , Nessie and me!! :)

Aside from enjoying the food we had, I also had a great time laughing and giggling with these girls.

I love Kitchen of Cakes and Coffee! It's my go-to place when I want to indulge in cakes but have limited budget. I love their wide selections of teas :) But I haven't tried their yogurt drinks yet. Thank you for sharing.

The cakes look interestingly good but the drinks should always complement it, I wonder if they serve good coffee, it's what I like best with cakes.
