CCP to hold the first Children's Biennale this November

BELIEVING that arts education and appreciation should begin at a young age, the Cultural Center of the Philippines launches a month-long online creative expression biennale for children this November 2020.

Dubbed “Arts eXpress: CCP Children’s Biennale,” the series of events aims to encourage and develop creativity and artistic expression in children, create new works/activities to focus on children’s appreciation and value for the arts, and engage the participation of the guardians and parents in sustaining the appreciation for the arts.

The biennale will kick off on October 31, 4pm, via the CCP Facebook Page, with a short program led by CCP chairperson Margie Moran-Floirendo, VP-artistic director Chris Millado and board member Nikki Junia.

Combating Climate Change by Using Cloth Diapers

It's almost 4 months that we're exclusively using cloth diapers for my baby Moirah, and I can proudly say that never a single moment we think about disposable diapers. No matter how enticing their offers are, I still don't care, as long as we are using cloth diapers, never a gain will I try to let my daughter use disposable ones.

Imagine how many moms are still using disposable diapers for their babies. That being the case, imagine how many spoiled nappies to be thrown, imagine that those things will not degrade nor be dissolve for more than 500 years. Imagine this dump trailer full of soiled nappies. Mother Earth will sure cry for help!

In my own little way, I know I am helping Mother Nature. Along with the moms I know that are also using cloth diapers.
