Excellence thrives where it is practiced consistently. Pepsi-Cola Products Philippines, Inc. (PCPPI)—the exclusive manufacturer of PepsiCo beverages in the country—recently honored three outstanding employees with this year’s Gold Crown Awards. This recognition is awarded to employees for demonstrating professional dedication in line with PCPPI’s ICARE Values, which stands for Integrity and Innovation, Care and Respect, Empowerment and Excellence. The three awardees for this year are (in photo, from left to right) Faith Marie M. Zacal of from PCPPI’s Cagayan De Oro plant, Lucky J. Mallari from the Central Luzon Operations (CLO) and Jona Marie S. Rollan from the Davao manufacturing facility. Of the awardees, PCPPI president and chief executive officer Frederick D. Our F1rst Anniversary as Mr. & Mrs.

It was really unplanned because we're expecting to incur some expenses for Ira's 1st birthday party. But nonetheless, hubby made the effort to treat the whole family into a dinner buffet at Saluhan Restaurant in Skylight Guest Hotel.

For Php399.00/pax you get to enjoy unlimited buffet meals prepared. But when you have kids with you, don't worry for they're only charged half of the price.

The place was nicely done, not so classy as that of on the "fancy" restaurants one which have those "well-dressed" table settings with faux burlap table runner and some classical music playing. Nonetheless, it still can be considered a fine-dining restaurant.

Food they served were OKAY. Not so delicious, but not that bad also.. First on the table was Beef Broccoli, my favorite actually.

Next was Breaded Chicken. This for me was the one I loved. The chicken meat is perfectly tender and the taste is so good, that I kept coming back for more. My daughter, Mikyla had a lot of this too. Her fave actually.

Hubby's choice was the Sweet and Spice Crabs. I think he came back 3 times for this viand. Though a very tiresome food to eat, but according to him, it's all worth it. I had tasted the sauce and it's just that good.

Then, there's this Beef Steak. At first I thought this will be my bet for the night. But unfortunately, I was discouraged to devour this because I had a hard time chewing the not so tender meat. But the sauce was really delicious!

They have the salad bar! Where 3 sets of dressings were there. For me this is HEAVEN! I love the dressing that have balsamic vinegar on it! Was able to finish two plates of green salad! :)

The whole family enjoyed this dinner buffet! Of course the kids too! Also a plus for the place for they have high chairs for little ones. A kid and baby friendly restaurant.

Me and my girls after having dinner.. We're all stuffed now.

Of course, hubby won't settle for just that. He had this surprise thing. A bouquet for red and white roses for me!

Ohhh.. Sweetness overload!! Cheers to the 1st year! And to the coming more years!

My ratings:

Ambiance: 5/5
Food: 4/5 Money for value food!
Service: 5/5 Staffs and crews were so accommodating!

Thanks for sharing your pictures with us. My husband and I actually don't bother to celebrate our anniversary (we're lame), so seeing this was really nice. I am glad you guys were able to share your day with close friends & family!

What a nice way to celebrate:) It is always a nice thing when restaurants that are a bit nicer have highchairs. I usually don't eat many places where kids aren't welcome. Especially still nursing my youngest. Thanks for sharing:)

Anniversaries are hard to celebrate after you have kids! I'm happy for you that you were still able to have what appears to be a very nice evening, celebrating with the family.
