PCPPI recognizes exceptional employees at Gold Crown Awards

Excellence thrives where it is practiced consistently. Pepsi-Cola Products Philippines, Inc. (PCPPI)—the exclusive manufacturer of PepsiCo beverages in the country—recently honored three outstanding employees with this year’s Gold Crown Awards. This recognition is awarded to employees for demonstrating professional dedication in line with PCPPI’s ICARE Values, which stands for Integrity and Innovation, Care and Respect, Empowerment and Excellence. Money Smart Kids (Feb. 23, 2014)

We believe that it’s never too early to start learning about financial literacy.

That’s why we’re bringing you this innovative workshop that will teach your kids the value of money, the concept of saving, earning, banks and so much more.

Finally, your kids will understand that money does not grow on trees and the plastic card that mommy and daddy uses to buy things is not magic!

Presenting the Money Smart Kids Workshop





This workshop is designed as a learning experience for both kids and their parents. There will be hands-on activities and even role-playing games that will surely help your child become more financially prepared for the future.

After the workshop, your child is expected to have a clearer understanding of how money works, and will be equipped with the most basic but very important habit of saving.

Who should attend this workshop?

- This workshop is open to children aged 7 to 12 years
- Kids should be accompanied by a parent or guardian, who’s willing to participate in the workshop activities

Here are some of the lessons that your kids will learn in the workshop:

- What is money and where does it comes from
- Where and how do my mommy and daddy get their money
- What can I do with money, apart from spending it
- Why is saving money important
- What are banks and what do they do
- What are credit cards and how does it work

Instructor:

Fitz Gerard Villafuerte is a civil engineer who decided to quit the corporate world in 2003 to pursue entrepreneurship.

His blog, entitled, Ready To Be Rich, has already received several recognitions including the Best Business and Finance Blog at the Philippine Blog Awards for two years in a row.
