Palawena Nurse represent Philippines in Miss Tourism World 2014.

Cindy Madduma, the 26 year old Nurse from Palawan State University is chosen to represent the Philippines in the coming Miss Tourism World pageant to be held in Barquisito, Venezuela wherein coronation night is slated on Dec 10, 2014.

Madduma was selected because she is one of the four winners with equal title as Ambassadress of Tourism in the first Miss Global Philippines, held last Oct 11 at The New Resort World.

Maduma is so excited for the said pageant that she never expect to happen, she believe that God is on her for this since she only have a couple weeks to prepare for it. She is leaving Manila by Nov 29 going to Venezuela. Philippines bet last year Aiyana Camille Mikiewicz is a runner up as Miss Tourism Asia.

Miss Tourism World started in year 2000 with the aim to endorse beauty of the contestant and the country they represent, the first Filipina who won this title is Michelle Reyes way back year 2002.

Madduma being a veteran pageant wannabe in Palawan is the former Mutya ng Bancao-Bancao in 2005, a first runner up of Mutya ng Palawan in 2008, second place for Miss Puerto Princesa in 2009,  and a finalist of Mutya ng Pilipinas in 2010. She was train under the wing of Rogel Flores of Kagandahang Flores. In profession she became an attending nurse for the former Mayor Edward Hagedorn.

Sindak 1941, the 18th Season Offering of Philippine Stagers Foundation.

On the celebration of its 18th year as a theater company, Philippine Stagers Foundation rewrite and reproduce their old piece “Filipinas 1941” into a whole new musical combining efforts from other theater luminaries and experts, making it the only theater musical experience about the Japanese occupation in the Philippines.
