Travelling Tips for the Holidays

Traveling is, indeed, one of the most indulging activities one could ever experience. People get to discover the most exciting beaches, the undiscovered taverns, and the virgin forests.
However, along with all of these great places are the risks of getting into trouble, especially if the person is not yet familiar of the new surroundings and environment.
Here’s a list of some safety tips that one can use when on travel.
1. Do the homework.
Like any kind of decisions people have to make, it is always important to know the area they will be visiting so as to familiarize themselves with the laws, locations of best tourist spots, and the kind of people they have to deal with.
Going to a place without having the slightest idea what it is all about is just as bad as going to the wilderness with beasts lurking everywhere and there’s no gadget to protect them.
2. Never travel alone.
Of course, there are times when people just want to be alone and unwind so as to shed off all of the hustle and bustle of urban living.
However, with the imminent danger lurking everywhere, it is better to travel with someone than to risk their lives traveling alone.
After all, people will never know what will happen next as soon as they arrive at their destinations, especially when it is their first time on the area.
3. Planning.
When traveling, it is extremely important to plan ahead. This will give the traveler enough time to decide on which things need to be on top priority and which should be considered at a later time.
Besides, when a person has enough time to plan things ahead, he or she will be able to think on things that will protect them when they are on travel already.Always remember to bring necessary stuffs like some personal effects, and everything.
4. Always be prepared for emergencies.
It does not necessarily mean that people must be pessimistic on the way they plan their travels. It’s just that they have to consider any possible emergencies and be prepared for it.
As they say, an ounce of prevention is always better than a pound of cure. So as for me, I always bring with me Diatabs, just in case my tummy aches and have the loose bowel movement issues.
5. Be aware of hotel accommodations.
It is best to choose hotels that are equipped with the best innovative safety equipment. This is to ensure that travelers will be safe once they are alone in their room.
So, whether a person is traveling for the first time or for the nth time, it is still best to keep in mind safety traveling tips such as these one so that the experience will always be a gratifying one.

This Ambient genre of music are usually electronic and instrumental in nature that create perfect balance between disappearance and presence, it exist long time ago but the following for this type of music is not that hype yet, some called it like soundtrack thing or instrumental kind of songs without lyrics of course.

Heneral Luna special screening on Nov 30, 2015.

Photos from Heneral Luna Facebook page.

The much talked historical biopic film Heneral Luna once again is back in Manila this coming November 30, 2015, 6pm at Meralco Theater. This is a special screening, and a fund raising event for Bagong Sistema, Bagong Pag-asa, an apolitical movement group that advocates the changing of the Philippine Constitution for the better future.

The said semi-NGO group is led by former Chief Justice Reynato Puno, who is now on the verge of asking the Philippine congress before the Christmas break to approve its petition for Constitutional Convention. Bagong Sistema, Bagong Pag-Asa (BSBP) is also a membership organization with around 5,000 plus individual members and 300 to 500 thousands affiliate organization around the country.  They just started July of this year during a Summit for Change held in Club Filipino.

Bagong Sistema Bagong Pag-Asa is not calling for Charter Change but the whole basic 1987 Constitutions to be revised and adopt Parliamentary Federalism, this kind of change the group believes it will resolve the current status of the country in terms of Poverty and Corruption.

“Realistically due to time constraints, right now I think we are at 50-50 state, because we have a very short window of time, gipit sa panahon para maipasa ang resolusyon, hinahangad natin na sana hindi masyado pahabain ang debate sa Kongreso, but even then kung hindi matuloy ang referendum ay ipagpapatuloy natin eto na maging isa sa usapin sa halalan, in fact gusto natin maisama etu sa debate ng mga kandidato, na anu ang posisyon nila sa pagbabago ng ating Sistema.”  Said by Conrado Generoso, President of BSBP.
Mr.Conrado "Ding" Generoso, President, BSBP.

Due to the message convey by the film Heneral Luna, advocating changing the oneself for the country, is not far away from the advocacy of BSBP, and that’s the reason they choose it for re-showing and for those who missed it Metro Manila Theaters.

Heneral Luna stars John Arcilla in the title role under the direction of Jerrold Tarog for Artikulo Uno productions, according to Wikipedia it gross P240Million in Box office during its nationwide showing. It is now the official entry of Philippines to the annual Oscar Academy awards for Best Foreign Film.

Chong Cafe also participated during the Pressconference of the said event.
For tickets and reservation, please check .Bagong Sistema Bagong Pag Asa facebook page.

Update: As of November 27, 2015 We received email from PMCM, the group who handles PR for this event, that it did not push thru due to the reason Artikulo Uno don't want to be associated with any political parties.

Myra: Makes Me Feel Beautiful Inside Out

Are you looking for anti aging skin care products? Have you thought of buying one?

Anti aging skin care products remind me of the song ’18 till I die’. Indeed, anti aging skin care products are very popular today; and why not, who doesn’t want to look young for ever?

Talking of anti aging skin care products, the first thing that comes to mind is vitamin C based anti aging skin care products.  These products work by enabling the synthesis of collagen (a structural protein that is found in skin). This category of anti aging skin care products is related to anti-oxidants. Anti aging skin care products that are based on vitamin C are, however, posed with the danger of getting oxidised themselves (as they come into contact with air during their usage). So some anti aging skin care products are based on the derivatives of vitamin C, which are more stable and less expensive. However, the effectiveness of such anti aging skin care is not as much as it is for vitamin C based ant aging skin care products.

Besides vitamin C, vitamin E and lipoic acid are anti-oxidants too. Vitamin E is a fat-soluble anti-oxidant that is found in human blood and helps in building resistance against infection. Vitamin E is also known to inhibit cancer. Liponic acid is known to combat the signs of aging very effectively by reversing the skin damage caused by the aging process.

Phytochemicals form the other category of anti aging skin care products. Phytochemical are special chemicals that are extracted from plants. There are a variety of phytochemicals that are in use today. Phytochemicals prevent occurrence of cancer of certain types; these include prostate cancer, breast cancer and colon cancer. That is why they find their place in anti aging skin care products.

Some B-vitamins like B5, B6 and B12 are also in use for anti aging skin care products.

The field of anti aging skin care products is vast and needs a lot of research. Though the currently available products are effective, they still have challenges to combat. Hopefully, these challenges will get resolved in due course and help get better and cheaper anti aging skin care products.

However, anti aging skin care products should be used only as a supplement to the natural ways of skin and body care. So, drinking a lot of water, getting a good night sleep, exercising regularly, maintaining healthy eating habits and keeping stress at bay are essential means of delaying the aging process. No anti aging skin care product can replace them really.

Now that you know everything about skin care products, it would be easier to choose which one is the best for you.

But let me share what I have found and using for over 2 weeks now, mine is Myra® VitaSmooth and VitaWhite Facial Wash.

Paglayang Minamahal, a sarswela revisit.

The Technical Theater Batch 112 of De La Salle- College of St.Benilde recently stage its major graduating production, the Paglayang Minamahal that open last November 12 and last until Nov 15 at the School of Design and Arts Theater. This theater program is comprised mostly of students taking Bachelor of Arts Major in Technical Theater of College of St. Benilde.

Paglayang Minamahal is a sarswela written and Directed by Palanca award winner George De Jesus III with the music of Jeffrey Hernandez.  Natasha Cabrera plays the role of Alodia, the barrio lass who fell in love with Mauricio, a rich ilustrado played by Jojo Riguerra. It talks about freedom from slavery that explores many levels of love usually through songs, mostly in authentic Filipino or Tagalog lyrics.  It is first written during the Philippine Centenial Celebrations in 1998 and won second prize in Sarswela category of Centennial Literary competition.  It was first produced as a stage play by Tanghalang Pilipino wayback 2000 by Chris Millado in Cultural Center of the Philippines.

The almost two hours play offers new array of non-colorful visuals, black and white on stage thru the magic of lights, but some portion in second act shifts to a bloody one since it goes with the era of revolution and death as well. The big headed guardya sibil is also an eye candy on stage.

Kevin Posadas play the rebel Joselito, this former Stagers members have the face that captivate the audience, in this play I’ve seen him sing very well, I mean louder than the previous play he did with Stagers. But the most celebrated characters in this play are the one playing Lucia, the muchacha and his love interest Timoteo, all the comedy acts and punches were given to them so you can expect why the crowd loves them.

Other casts are KL Dizon, Bryllle Mondejar, Ronah Rostata, Ruth Alfrez, Denise Nayve, Bea Ramos, Ron Binas, Joshua Tayco, Mia Reonal-Bolanos and Joel Saracho.

The set is also innovative that transport the audiences to the era of Philippine Revolution in 1898, and the costumes is also to die for, that you would think it is laminated and illustrates the whole  texture of the era they are representing.
Technical Theater of CSB is a three year and one term course that trains students to become professional Production Managers, Stage Managers, Lighting Designers and Technical Directors. For more information check and Like on Facebook: facebook.com/PaglayaBENILDE .
