Music Lane Okinawa Rescheduled to February 20-21, 2021

Following the recent declaration of State of Emergency for the central area in Tokyo, Japan, the Music Lane Festival Okinawa 2021 (Music Lane Okinawa) and Trans Asia Music Meeting 2021 has been rescheduled to February 20 and 21, 2021. According to a statement released by organizers, the decision to postpone the festival follows the recent rising cases of the COVID-19 in different parts of Japan. “Although Okinawa is not included in the State of Emergency, there are many artists and audiences participating from Tokyo and the surrounding prefectures. In addition, the spread of infection in Okinawa Prefecture is becoming more prominent again… We felt that pushing the festival to be held in these circumstances could cause inconvenience and trouble to the participating artists, audiences, and all the staff members.” The announcement was made formally last week to the Japanese audience. Miles Experience launched “Anggulo” Music Video.

After being signed by major label MCA Music, Miles Experience band just launched their newest music video “Anggulo” last March 4, 2017 at the very special event held in 12 Monkeys Music Hall in Makati City.   The said song was used as the theme of GMA series “Wolfblood”.

The video was directed by Jiggy Gregorio, and it talks about acceptance and learning to love whatever the situation. “The song is very sad, thus the rain for the band shots which connotes sadness and despair” Gregorio said.

Miles Experience is composed of Miles Bondoc on vocals and guitar, Justin Teano on guitar, Ian Diaz on bass, Guido Hizon on keyboard and Tim Dadivas on drums. This former indie group from University of Sto. Tomas started as a blues band in 2011, and they revamped to make a unique music not heard in the local music scene.

“The music video is very different from our previous videos and we are very excited to show it to fans.” Bondoc said.

Aside from being in demand in gigs, Miles Experience also promoting 3 singles, the said Anggulo, Silakbo and Love Supreme from their debut album “Again & Against” release by MCA Music. It is available now in on streaming via Spotify, Deezer and Apple Music, and on downloads via iTunes and Spinnr, and the CDs are available at select Astroplus and Astrovision outlets.
