FEU celebrates Culture and Arts on May 4

Far Eastern University celebrate Heritage Month this coming May 4, 2019 with two monumental event spearheaded by FEU President’s committee on Culture and Arts, this is also mark the 70th anniversary of FEU Auditorium, the Cultural Center of the Philippines in 1950’s, it was design by National Artist for Architecture Pablo Antonio in 1949.
The first event is the “Significance in the details: Identifying values in Heritage sites and structures”, is comprised of two lectures and a highly walk about talk through the 91 year old University, plus a basic understanding of the Heritage law by Heritage Conservation Society (HCS) President, Atty. Mark Evidente, a lecture on Digital scanning in documenting heritage structures by Conrad Alampay, HCS trustee, and FEU Director for Culture and Arts Martin Lopez will discuss the well preserve art deco of FEU auditorium.
Significance in the details will be held at the PCC Center Studio of FEU Manila campus, this coming May 4, 2019 from 1:30 to 5:00…

The world of Seven Seas in Northern Mindanao.

If you’re scheduled to travel in Northern Mindanao, to escape the burning heat of summer in the Metro, check this newest water park in Opol, Misamis Oriental called Seven Seas Waterpark & Resort. The Heritage House in Pangasinan and how it was move to Bukidnon

Kaamulan Festival 2019, the colors and fun of summer.

MALAYBALAY CITY- Summer is colorful and vibrant as ever in Bukidnon, even the weather is cold, its City the Malaybalay is called the summer capital of Northern Mindanao, on our first day a hard pouring rain welcome us.  It is my first time witness and experience Kaamulan Festival, it started almost 30 years ago as a simple gathering of 7 lumad tribes of the Province of Bukidnon, since its inception as a festival it is one of the most celebrated event in the northern Mindanao and was called the authentic ethnic festival in the Philippines as well.
