Ginebra San Miguel, continues the legacy for Filipinos

The iconic Gin in the Philippines is now celebrating 185 years, making it the most respected brand that stood the test of time, Ginebra San Miguel story started as a drinking culture since March 10, 1834, from a humble distillery in Quiapo, Manila. Today it is considered the World’s Largest selling Gin and awarded consistently.
Through the years, Ginebra shape the nation in nine generations from being a drink of the elite to winning the hearts and taste buds of the masses, its iconic image of St.Michael the Arcangel vanquishing the the devil is still its brand mark to this days, the fact is, it was painted by National Artist Fernando Amorsolo.

“Ginebra is part of Philippine culture, life, taste, flavor, and festivity that no other drink has been, this is a fact.” Ronald Molina, Marketing Manager of Ginebra San Miguel said.

But Ginebra want more for Filipinos, after launching the One Ginebra Nation Tour traveling to many cities of the country the past years, they want to incorporate authentic Filipino foods from Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao to its tour, and introduce Gin buffet featuring many kinds of drink mix.

Last June 8 at Seda Vertis North in Quezon City, in celebration of World Gin Day, Ginebra San Miguel collaborate with top notch culinary expert Chef Rolando Laudico, in presenting grown up Pinoy foods of many islands that are the best partner with any Gin mix, present also in the events are world-class mixologist in the country today like Kalel Demetrio, Enzo Lim and Icy Marinas.
“Tonight is not just a celebration of an idea, we are celebrating One Ginebra nation, and with a tour, we will experience Ginebra San Miguel that never before, treated you in a Gin buffet, the taste, the unforgettable experience, the flavors of our islands, the Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.” Molina added.

One Ginebra Nation 2019 is also attended by Ginebra rosters of endorsers and ambassadors, headed by Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach, PBA Living Legend Robert Jaworski, young actress Sue Ramirez, and Comedian Alex Calleja.
