Welch’s celebrate 150 years of real grape goodness

Grape is a fruit, not a flavor. For 150 years now, Welch’s maintain to be the leading real grape juice in many countries that offer true grape goodness, fresh and natural in all its process, a quality that was kept in a long tradition from Concorde grapes farm in the United States of America.

Joining the world in celebrating the 150 years of real grape goodness, Fly Ace Corporation the Philippine Distributor along with Gemco, the Philippine marketing agent of Welch’s dedicate one afternoon of learning and feasting last July 27, 2019, at the 1771 Events Place in Pasig City. Gemco is distributing Welch’s since 1994 in the Philippines.

The event is loaded with talks about a healthy lifestyle, testimonies and games that open our mind, on why this purple fruit is still mattered in this new age of living healthy, and the very fact it was still patronized all over the world because of its Polyphenol powerhouse content, which is considered anti-oxidants in our body. 2 grapes are served in 1 glass drink of Welch’s.

Nutritionist Paz Sales on her presentation said that grapes fruits and berries contain high anti-oxidants needed by our body to survive the daily nutrients need in daily activity, Welch’s being no sugar added drink is a healthy lifestyle we need to prioritize, there is no truth that drinking it either cold or raw in temperature make us fat, the importance is we take it as a supplement and there is no needed temperature to enjoy its benefits.

“Over the years the Welch’s company also with our representation tried to expand and modernize the Welch’s presentation of this product although the basic formula of Welch’s Concorde grape juice has not changed. Welch’s company in the US is own by a farmer, they are not a corporate entity like other products, they are very conservative, which is why the development of the product is a building blocks style, they are on something already establish or accepted in tune with high quality.” Said by Gemco President Gilbert Evaresto.

The 150 years celebrations of Welch’s in the Philippines also feature a question and answer program with known Mommy influencers Frances Sales and Aliza Apostol, a cooking cook-off demo with Chef Peachy Mathay and Chef Trisha Ocampo. For the entertainment part upcoming singer’s JV Decena and Joaquin Gabriel entertain the guests.
