The COVID-19 pandemic has presented immense challenges to industries around the world. With mobility restrictions in place, business owners had to rethink their operations and adjust to navigate the uncertainties in the new normal. Although some companies were able to adapt and seamlessly shift to the new norm, the process was not easy with many struggling with financial losses and temporary business closures. A survey from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) released September last year reported that the Philippine economy experienced the worst impacts of the pandemic. The Philippines logged the highest number of business closures and layoffs among its peers in Southeast Asia. Are you pregnant and want to learn more about breastfeeding? Do you have questions about or challenges with breastfeeding your baby? Are you curious about the benefits and how-to’s of babywearing? Come to our information-packed workshop on Breastfeeding 101 and Babywearing! This is a rerun of the workshop that we had last year.
Speakers:
Our resource speaker, Miss Abbie Yabot, will provide expectant and new parents with the knowledge and confidence to successfully start and sustain a satisfying breastfeeding relationship with your baby. Miss Yabot is a Certified Lactation Counselor. She is a La Leche League Leader and the founder of the Breastfeeding Club. La Leche League is an international, non-profit organization dedicated to supporting breastfeeding mothers.
Miss Gonzales-Bernardo is a babywearing expert and one of the mompreneurs behind Indigo Baby, a one-stop baby shop using all natural products for parents and babies. She is also a staunch advocate of attachment parenting and breastfeeding.

Breastfeeding 101 and Babywearing is on Saturday, September 13, 2014, from 1:00 PM to 5:30 PM at the Insular Life Multi-Purpose Hall, Insular Life Makati Building, Ayala Avenue corner Paseo de Roxas Street, Makati City. This workshop is part of Manila Workshops’ Parenting Pals Workshop Series and is supported by Indigo Baby, Petiten, Mamachows, and Insular Life.

Learning Fee:

Early Bird Rate: Php 600 per participant or Php 500 per participant if coming in a group of 2 or more! (Register and Pay on or before September 1, 2014)

Regular Rate (Sept. 2 onwards): Php 800 per person or Php 750 per participant if coming in a group of 2 or more.
