It’s just barely a year, but this Clinic located in Ortigas
Area is making waves in pioneering medical and diagnostic needs in a 24 hour
operation, yes you read it right, they are in 24 hour open to all your medical
emergency needs, and it is Aster Medical and Diagnostic Clinic located at the
Ground floor of St. Francis Square, Dona Julia Vargas Avenue in Ortigas Center
(Back of SM Megamall).
Aster is the first branch in South East Asia by Aster DM
Healthcare, one of healthcare providers in the Middle East and India, founded
in 1987, this Dubai headquartered health institution now operates a network of
more than 290 establishments such as Clinics, Hospitals, medical centers,
pharmacies, and even medical college they have.
In Metro Manila, most of Clinics don’t have a 24 hour
operation, so in times of medical urgency your only choice is an Emergency Room
of any Hospital near you, but what about those cases that it is not needed an
ER function, you have to wait for the sunrise until some Medical Clinics open.

Alumno during the blog conference last May 4, 2016 inform
us, that what they are really proud of in Aster is their paperless system
called Electronic Medical Records technology. This system is the first in this
industry to which patients have log in or access to their medical records, it
will be very helpful especially in collating all your files in terms of
analyzing for any health issues you may undergoing.
Upon registration with Aster, an automatic SMS note thru
your mobile phone will be sent containing your log in information, meaning you
can also download those data after your check up, plus those medications you
underwent. But Alumno stress that besides its accuracy, this EMR thing is 100%
safe in going to public, the information is only with Aster and the patient
only and nothing else.
“This technology streamlines the flow of information across
our network. Check ups, as it is, is already stressful and we from Aster, are
committed to delivering our promise of treating patients well. From the moment
they are welcomed in our reception area and throughout the process, we want to
