PCPPI recognizes exceptional employees at Gold Crown Awards

(PCPPI)—the exclusive manufacturer of PepsiCo beverages in the country—recently honored three outstanding employees with this year’s Gold Crown Awards. This recognition is awarded to employees for demonstrating professional dedication in line with PCPPI’s ICARE Values, which stands for Integrity and Innovation, Care and Respect, Empowerment and Excellence. The three awardees for this year are (in photo, from left to right) Faith Marie M. Zacal of from PCPPI’s Cagayan De Oro plant, Lucky J. The Power Of X. A Digital Congress by IMMAP.

In celebrating their 10 years anniversary, the Internet Mobile Marketing Association of the Philippines launch recently the Power of X, an IMMAP Digital Congress scheduled on October 10 to 12, 2016 at the Philippine International Convention Center in Pasay City.

During the launching last April 19, 2016 at the Makati Diamond Residences, IMMAP President Margot Torres said that it’s been a dream for IMMAP to organize such congress, wherein they are targeting a 3000 participants mostly from the fields of Marketing and selling, Digital Marketers as well who need to be updated with the latest trend in this evolving technology.

Ed Mapa, Power of X DigiCon Director also discusses that there are 100 speakers not only from the Philippines but throughout Asia, he believe that after hearing those speakers, ideally Marketing landscape will change to make it more vibrant and dynamic for the future to come.  One of its pillar also is Donald Lim, the Digital CEO of ABS-CBN and one of the founders of IMMAP. Lim said that this will be a momentous gathering of the entire ecosystem.


“Our objective is to rally Digital done right, half of digital is understanding of what not to do, especially in the proliferation of different technology, platforms, publishers, website, di na natin alam sino credible. The essence of Power of X, is finding your X that could help you power your business. “ Lim explain. 

During the said launching, one of it speaker give a sample of her talk in the actual congress, its Sandhia Devanathan, Regional Head for eCommerce for Southeast Asia of Facebook, she said that the maximum Filipino alone spend 3 hours in digital media, while there are 7.2 billion of sim card are now active in social media which is 5 times faster the growth  of the actual human population.  There are also 8 of 10 uses Digital mobile in watching TV, and a lot more information that she share to us during the event.

“This is not just a conference that we have speakers and participants to attend, this is more of a birthday, it’s our 10th year, we want to invite everyone who has been practicing Digital Marketing for the longest time, we want to make it the biggest conference ever, we invite more than 100 speakers, we will fly in more than 70 regional, international speakers in.” Lim said in closing.
