PCPPI recognizes exceptional employees at Gold Crown Awards

(PCPPI)—the exclusive manufacturer of PepsiCo beverages in the country—recently honored three outstanding employees with this year’s Gold Crown Awards. This recognition is awarded to employees for demonstrating professional dedication in line with PCPPI’s ICARE Values, which stands for Integrity and Innovation, Care and Respect, Empowerment and Excellence. USANA Regional General Manager Aurora Claudia Gaston explain to us that, Team Pilipinas are not only for athletes, it is for everyone of all ages even for Kids they have products that suit them, the new batch of ambassadors also include three notable personalities.

“Our new ambassadors have Patty Betita, a beauty Queen and a cancer survivor, she is using our product for the last 5 years, Jonathan Yabut, the Southeast Asia winner for The Apprentice, a motivational speaker, he is also a health advocate, and Francis Kong, he is a very well known motivational speaker, he is a lifestyle person, he is very much into health, so he’s been a USANA user for 5 years.” Gaston explain.

Obra Ni Juan. Theater Review.

Spoliarium, an opera with libretto by Soprano Fides Cuyugan-Asensio and with music by Ryan Cayabyab was the first production I saw pertaining to the life of Juan Luna. Originally staged at the CCP in 2003 starring Robert Seña at the titular role, the opera was staged in Tribeca Performing Arts Center in New York thirteen years later. Philippine Stagers Foundation (PSF) current production of "Obra Ni Juan " was my follow-up. This original Filipino musical entertainment was written by Atty. Princess Laura, Prince Florante, Prince Aladin and Princess Flerida.   Amidst innovations and new techniques in presenting play, the Gantimpala Theater Foundation, Inc stand in delivering the Filipino classic story “Florante At Laura” in a traditional way as they open 38 th Season. They use the Komedya complete with majestic marches and grand batalia for the entire run of Florante and Laura.
