Catriona Gray's grand homecoming that is
truly fit for a queen. Festive parades, charity visits are among the highlights
during her homecoming. On February 23, Saturday, Catriona will have another
parade, this time at the Araneta Center where her journey to the Miss Universe
crown started. Festivities will start at 4 pm. The parade will begin at the
Novotel Manila Araneta Center and will go through the main road Aguinaldo
Avenue, and around the 35-hectare lifestyle hub before making a stop at the
Green Gate of the iconic Smart Araneta Coliseum, where she won the Miss
Universe Philippines crown in March last year.
A tribute, “Raise Your Flag for
Catriona Gray”, the grand homecoming of Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray is
happening at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on February 24, 2019. Joining the grand
tribute for the Philippines’ fourth Miss Universe titleholder are Bamboo, Miss
Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach, Jed Madela, Kz Tandingan, Morisette Amon, TNT
boys, Maymay Entrata & Vice Ganda together with the ABS-CBN Philharmonic
Orchestra and other surprise guests! Admission is FREE.
A separate ticket is
required upon entry. Free admission tickets on upper box and general admission will be
released to the public from February 21 until February 24 or until supplies
last. Claiming of free tickets is from 10 AM to 8 PM only, at the Ticketnet Box
Office located at the yellow gate of Smart Araneta Coliseum. Only two tickets
will be given per person.
Staying true to her core advocacy of helping under
privileged children as well as those living with HIV and AIDS, Catriona will
visit and bond with the beneficiaries of Young Focus, LoveYourself PH and Smile
Train organizations which is close to her heart with BPCI Chairperson Mrs.
Stella Marquez Araneta.
Catriona is also scheduled to have courtesy calls in
the offices of some of the countrys most prominent leaders including Vice
President Leni Robredo. Catriona held her first official press conference as
Miss Universe yesterday at the Monet Ballroom 3, Novotel where she made an
emotional opening statement. Hosted by Miss Universe 2011 third runner-up
Shamcey Supsup Lee where executives from Binibining Pilipinas Charities
Incorporated (BPCI) and Miss Universe Organization (MUO) were in attendance.
