Eto na Musical nAPO, the review.

We all have stories to tell in any APO songs, but putting it in a musical play is something to we will look forward, most of our parents youth is definitely have a theme songs from APO that once became a TV noontime favorites.

Eto Na Musical nAPO has a comeback this 2019, I must say I am all excited and happy to see it recently and it did make me cry, but laugh more than I can recall. This 9 Works Theatrical production proves to me that no matter what age you are, if your country at stake you will make a stand and fight even if it cost you a life.

I am impressed with Jobim Javier who play butch, he got the right timing in cracking a funny scenes, I must say he is good in delivering punch lines that will make the audiences hold in their seats because of laugther, but the most beautiful singing act belongs to Floyd Tena as Rick, that Nakapagtataka part is magically executed with matching real rain drama.

This APO musical is presented in a way that you will see behind the staging, production people are on stage once in a while changing sets, and later on will became part of the stage production as it is in the story, I heard some people softly humming and can’t stop singing  lines as well during some numbers due to the good musicality, all the musical arrangements are perfectly in line as stage show and a not the jukebox we are familiar with.

Above all I see Eto na Musical nAPO as a story that revolves on friendship that was develop in school, let’s be honest those friends we have in school are the meaningful people in our lives, that’s why this musical surprise me in presenting a barkada that faces many issues yet survive to be better, plus of course the charm of APO music.
