PCPPI recognizes exceptional employees at Gold Crown Awards

Excellence thrives where it is practiced consistently. Pepsi-Cola Products Philippines, Inc. (PCPPI)—the exclusive manufacturer of PepsiCo beverages in the country—recently honored three outstanding employees with this year’s Gold Crown Awards. This recognition is awarded to employees for demonstrating professional dedication in line with PCPPI’s ICARE Values, which stands for Integrity and Innovation, Care and Respect, Empowerment and Excellence. Musica FEUROPA Choral Competition all set this May 25 and 26

The FEU Chorale welcomes everyone for Musica FEUROPA 2019
The Far Eastern University Chorale Competition has gone a long way, from just four choirs in 2009 mostly from Manila, the list of competing choirs rose to almost 30 hailing from all over the Philippines, making it one of the most prestigious Chorale Contest in the Philippines today.

For 2019, FEUROPA again supported by the European Union as its principal sponsors featuring 10 choirs for Open category and 5 from the teen category, Grand Champion shall take home P100,000.00 and a trophy, First Placer will receive P30,000 and P20,00 for the Second Runner up plus trophy. P10,000 consolation will be given away also to remaining finalists.
Musica FEUROPA year 11 is set on May 25 and 26, 2019 in the upgraded retrofitted auditorium of the FEU Manila Campus.

The Chorale competition will require each Choir to perform two songs, one of that is their chosen piece that is written in any European Union language, and another piece is any Filipino songs. Only this year, FEU did change some things about the competition, they remove the High School category and change it to Teen division, to includes youth between 13 to 19 years of age.

And for the first time, the Tutti Finale of the European Union Hymn will be sung in German, the song “El Vasto Mar” will also perform during the Grand Finals after the Top Three Choir is chosen, the said song is written by Filipino Composer Saunder Choi, it is committed to him to write that convey how music can serve as universal language in promoting unity, peace, and harmony among different nations, its text is lifted from Sampaguitas Y PoesiaVarias, authored by Pedro Paterno.

This year's roster of judges are all Filipino Choral conductors and clinicians, such as Arwin Tan, Rodolfo Delarmente, Maria Theresa Vizconde-Roldan, Lester Jude Roldan, Emmanuel De Leon jr, Prof. Fidel Calalang Jr, Dr.Beverly Shangkuan-Cheng, Dr. Ed Manguiat, Ma. Lourdes Hermo and Ramon Lijauco, Jr.
